How much is the entry fee for the Speed Pool event?

£10 entry for 3 attempts with a 10 ball rack. 

What time will the Speed Pool event commence?

Speed Pool event is for the Novice weekend only.

The fastest time table opens on Thursday afternoon. We will make announcements when it opens. It will be located near the team registration desk.

It will also be opened at various times on Friday and Saturday, with announcements being made when it opens.

Players simply enter at the table and wait their turn to play and get their time recorded. 

What is the cut off time to enter the Speed Pool event?

Cut off time is 5pm Saturday.

Speed Pool Format

Players must qualify for the knockout finals by achieving a top 16 fastest time to clear a 10 ball rack.

We play to our standard speed pool rules using a 10 ball rack. There are no time penalties. Player must stop the clock after they have potted their last ball. Cost of entry is £10 for three attempts.

Players can enter more than once, but can only claim one place on the top 16 leader board.

The top 16 fastest times by 5pm on Saturday, will qualify for the Speed Pool Knockout Finals event at 7.30pm on Saturday night. The fastest time champion from the qualifying stage will also win a £300 cash prize and trophy.

All 16 players that enter the knockout, will be guaranteed a cash prize, with £300 for the knockout champion, plus trophies for the winner and runner up. The knockout stage will use 15 balls.

The draw is seeded for the knockout, meaning the fastest player will play the slowest player – i.e 1st place vs 16th place on fastest time leader board, then 2nd place vs 15th place, then 3rd place vs 14th place.
